norwegian pale ale
Brewed using a new-to-us yeast strain that has recently emerged from relative obscurity, this Norwegian pale ale is light, refreshing, and unique. Kveik are a rustic family of yeasts hailing from Norway, used traditionally in farmouse style ales and passed down from generation to generation. In fermentation, Kveik acts unlike any yeast we've brewed with before (heat tolerant, tenacious), but nerdy details aside, it produces tropical fruity esters and a crisp body. You had us at hallo, Kveik.
What it smells like, what it tastes like: Dry hopped every so minimally with Mosaic, for a hit of fruity, aromatic hops. The body is light and crisp, showcasing bright notes of lemon/lime, orange, and blueberry
